Toronto, ON: The Black Canadian Coaches Association and Coaching Association of Ontario have partnered to launch a 2 part series on how Provincial and Territorial Sport Organizations can enhance pathways for Black, Indigenous and People of Colour.

These interactive, facilitated discussions will give coaches a chance to dialogue with the BCCA and CAO and find out how we are working together to level the playing field and create opportunities for BIPOC and other underrepresented coaches in Ontario. Panelists will also facilitate breakout rooms where participants can brainstorm ways in which government recognized sport organizations can create pathways and supports for Black, Indigenous and People of Colour. We welcome YOU to join our #CoachesforChange Townhalls!

We are delighted to partner with the BCCA to host this series of town halls dedicated to the discussion of BIPOC, non-binary, female and other underrepresented coaches in Ontario and Canadian sport. The CAO is dedicated to providing quality programs and services which create competent and certified coaches. We strongly believe that part of being a competent coach is being an anti-racist coach. We are deeply committed as individuals and as an organization to continuing this conversation with all of our stakeholders.
